The ‘SSS’ Consumer: Making Smart, Safe and Sustainable Choices – 30th April 2019

Malta University Consulting in collaboration with the Department of Health, Physical Education and Consumer Studies at the University of Malta is organising the first of a series of three short training courses in regards to sustainable lifestyle choices.

ABOUT  THE  COURSE

The aim of this course :

  • to engage participants in reflection on their own behaviour as consumers and what are some key considerations for being smart, safe and sustainable in their consumption practices
  • to discuss marketing techniques and advertisements for everyday items
  • look at relevant legislation and questions to ask when planning or at the point of purchase

This course is aimed at all those who want to feel they are making wise consumer choices of benefit to themselves, their household and their community, and is of particular interest to those who have recently started living independently.

  • 3 hours of lessons in a fully equipped conference hall
